Helsinki on Foot and Public Transport

Why not discover Helsinki on a city tram?
Trams are reliable and run smothly. You can see all the main highlights sitting comfortably on a tram. You purchase the ticket from the driver, with cash. There are vending machines for example at the Ralway Station, or every metro station (you may have to get underground).

We shall take in all the main sights and visit all the locations that interest you. Mrs. Maarit, your tour guide, who speaks fluent English, can also drive you out into the countryside. There are several places to visit nearby, for instance Hvitträsk, the home of the eccentric architect Saarinen; or we could spend the whole day in the medieval town Porvoo. 

Excellent local knowledge; guide Maarit is a native Helsinki girl and knows her way around the highlights in the metropolitan area.

Few things impress first-time visitors to Finland more than the midnight sun in summertime. Although the true midnight sun can be enjoyed only as far north as Lapland, in Helsinki the sun sets for only a couple of hours on the longest day of the year. You can experience the magic with us by getting in our London Taxi Cab and taking a tour along the shores of Helsinki. 

Sightseeing Tour White Nights starts after 7 p.m.
